Podcaster Pros, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (together, the “Company”), will conduct the Contest substantially as described in these rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:

  1. Description of Contest/Participation. How to Enter And How to Play:
    NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. Odds of winning vary greatly depending on numbers of entrants.
    How to Enter: Beginning at 7:00 a.m. CDT on July 23, 2018 through 11:59 p.m. CST on December 31, 2018, podcasters may enter the Win a Year of Podcast Editing contest via website sign-up form at or by e-mail at Anyone over the age of 13 is eligible to win. All submitted entries must include the entrant’s first name, last name, valid e-mail address, and podcast name. Not all entrants will qualify for the Grand Prize. Multiple entries will NOT be accepted in the contest. All entries must be received by December 31, 2018 by 11:59pm CST.
    1B. How to Qualify: July 23, 2018 through December 31, 2018, entrants will have the chance to qualify for the Grand Prize. Every day (7-23 – 8-31), podcasters can submit their entries for the Win a Year of Podcast Editing contest via website sign-up form, or by email. From all entries submitted, the winning entry will be selected by a panel of judges consisting of Podcaster Pro staff members.

One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected from all entrant Qualifiers received during the contest period. Winner will be notified by e-mail. If a winner cannot be contacted from the information provided, the Company reserves the right to select another winner at its sole discretion. Only one entry will be selected to win the Grand Prize.

The prize that will be awarded to the eligible winner is:

2A. Grand Prize:
The Grand Prize that will be awarded to the eligible winner and the Prize value is as follows: One (1) PODCAST PRO PACKAGE – WEEKLY EDITING + CUSTOM BRANDING + PUBLISH.

(52) Weekly shows at 90 Minutes Maximum in edited duration. Standard Editing: Large chunk edits based on time-stamps winner must provide. (1) Produced episode will be completed and delivered every week at an on-going (7) day schedule for a total of (52) weeks.

Each week the final produced episode will include: Balancing/Dynamic Processing, EQ, Mastering, Noise Reduction, Final mp3, Encoding, and Publish to your media hosting account (ex: Libsyn or SoundCloud)

(12) Show Intros and Outros. We design, record, and produce Custom: 15 Second Intro with Royalty free background music, :10 Second Outro with SFX, and :15 second sponsorship message. (Scriptwriting, Voice-Over, and Final Production all included once every 30 days, 12 in total)

2B. Prizes will be awarded during the Contest as follows:
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded to the entry that received the most votes at the discretion of the judging panel. Three other qualifying entrants will receive an Intro and Outro Podcast Branding Package valued at $299. The Intro and Outro Package Includes:

Custom Audio Branding: Design, record, and produce custom intro and outro for your show. (Scriptwriting, Voice-Over Talent, and Final Production all included)

[INTRO]: 30 Second (75 words) with Royalty free background music

[OUTRO]: 30 Second (75 words) with SFX or background music

Complete script writing service included for the intro and outro to suit the needs of your show.

3. Eligibility and Limitations.
Participants and winner(s) and guest(s) must be legal US residents at least 13 years old as determined by the Company. A parent or legal guardian of any participant who is a minor must sign a release on behalf of the minor to be eligible to receive a prize, but the Company reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to or on behalf of any minor. Winners are eligible to win a major contest only once per year in a Podcaster Pros Contest. Employees of the Company, the Contest’s participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other podcast audio production companies, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.

  1. Publicity; Use of Personal Information.
    By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant the Company exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. By participating in the Contest, participants agree that the Company may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the Contest to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes on a worldwide basis in perpetuity.
  2. Release.
    By participating in the Contest, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against the Company, its employees and agents, the Contest’s sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Contest, or from the use of any prize. In order to receive a prize, participants must sign an official waiver form provided by the Company.
  3. Taxes.
    Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to the Company, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes. Each winner must provide the Company with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from the company will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
  4. Conduct and Decisions.
    By participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Company personnel. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. The Company will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest and the Company’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the Contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of the Company, the Company reserves the right to terminate this Contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as the Company deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by the Company and are final. The Company may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion. ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY CIRCUMVENT, DISRUPT OR DAMAGE ORDINARY AND NORMAL OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST, TELEPHONE SYSTEMS OR WEBSITE, OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPATE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
  5. Miscellaneous.
    Contest IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Appendix A is only applicable to the Grand Prize Portion of the Contest. If any contradiction exists between Appendix A and these Contest rules, the Contest rules supersede Appendix A in all respects. Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign the Company’s release form to claim the prize. No purchase necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. The Company may substitute prizes, amend the rules or discontinue the Contest at any time as announced on the Station(s). The Company disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Contest. Written copies of these rules are available during normal business hours at the business offices of the Station(s) and by mail upon written request with a stamped, self-addressed return envelope.   6. Compliance with Law.
    The conduct of the Contest is governed by the applicable laws of the Unites States of America, which take precedence over any rule to the contrary herein. The Company shall follow the applicable laws for conducting contests, including notice to the state attorney general or consumer affairs office, posting of a prize bond, furnishing lists of winners, running specific on-air disclaimers, providing specific written information about the Contest, etc. as required by local and state law.

Appendix A – Grand Prize Execution and Contest Rules
If the entrant is determined to be Grand Prize winner in accordance with the methods set forth in these official rules will be awarded the Grand Prize as described above. All other costs related to prize delivery and acceptances are the responsibility of winner including but not limited to taxes, gratuities, meals, additional transportation and any expenses not specifically identified. All properly claimed prizes will be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed, except at the sponsor’s sole discretion or as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Grand Prize winner will be required to complete and return a W-9 form, affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release, and present a valid driver’s license and social security number before prize will be awarded. All finalists will be issued a 1099 form reflecting the value of all prizes won, and are responsible for paying all income taxes on prize awards.
Failure to collect or properly claim any prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, contestant will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation.

Contest Odds: Odds of being selected as a qualifier are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received from all entry methods combined. Odds of an entrant winning the Grand Prize depend on all the eligible entries collected.
